So, in my last post - 40 minutes in Benque Viejo del Carmen - I told you that the cute little resort across the river from Benque was in Guatemala - it turns out that I was totally misinformed.
(I did ask someone, I didn't just guess on my own that it was Guatemala. I was actually thinking, "there's too many trees over there for that to be Guatemala.")
Anyway, I was trying to find out more about the cute little resort, thinking I might go to Guatemala one day just to get my passport stamped and say I've been there, and maybe that's where I'd stay...
but I can't.
Not only is that resort located in Belize, but it's currently out of operation.
Sorry for the mix up, but if you have a spare $1,905,000US, look into buying it so I can come hang out!
