Looking for a Yoga Buddy

Ok... for me to be able to go to this amazing yoga retreat in December, I need one more person to sign up and share a room with me. (I'm an excellent roommate, I promise!!)

We will be staying at La Perla del Caribe for the island portion of the retreat...

"This Luxury Ambergris Caye Resort is located on the north end of Ambergris Caye, the most popular vacation destination in Belize. La Perla Del Caribe captures the Caribbean ambiance of Belize in elegance and luxury. You can relax in the modern indoor-outdoor style of your private beach villa between trips to the pool and snorkeling – just offshore lies one of the top ten dive sites in the world, the pristine Belize coral reef. Or you can enjoy the vibrant life of the island – participate in village fiestas or sample local and international cuisine in the restaurants and clubs."

Yeah, I need to hang out here.

If spending four days at a gorgeous resort on the island, doing yoga on the beach twice a day, and snorkeling along the second largest barrier reef in the world isn't enough to entice you to join me for a few days... maybe I should mention the part I'm most looking forward to -

Evening meditation and yoga held on a private sandbar out in the middle of the sea on the last night on the island. How awesome does that sound?!?!?

I already know that I won't be joining the rest of the yoga group for the last few days on the mainland, even though I really wish I could, but if I get the OK from Keli (Yoga Peach) I'm going to try to meet up with them again on their last day...

" This morning we will head to the Ancient Mayan Ruins to commemorate the ending of the 13 Baktun on December 21, 2012.  This event is a once in a lifetime experience for any visitor on this date as the 6000 year Maya Calendar once predicted to come to an end comes marks the beginning of a new calendar cycle. Our yoga and meditation at the ancient epic center of the Maya pyramids focuses on reflection, restoration, and renewal in celebration of the upcoming year.  Following practice you may take part or observe the momentous occasion in both Maya and Belize history at a short Mayan ceremony while enjoying breakfast.  A professional photographer will join us on our last day to capture the once in a life time moments atop the Mayan Ruins.  Each participant will have the opportunity to partake in a yoga photography session taken on the ancient site"

So, who's it gonna be? I just need ONE person to be my yoga buddy.....
If you're interested, you can contact Keli at yogapeachblog@ gmail . com for more information :)

  1. Good luck in finding a partner as it sounds like a fantastic escape. I'll be at a party in Cerros, to celebrate the end of the old calendar and the beginning of the new.
