R.I.P Keanu

I had a little puppy.... 3 months old.... Cutest little thing.

6 nights ago she was beaten so badly by a local guy that I had been seeing that I had to have her put down.

The penalties for animal abuse are a joke in this country- even though he pleaded guilty, he does NO jail time for what he's done.

Rest in peace, little Keanu - i loved you so much, my big eared schmuppy.

  1. Heartbreaking...she was adorable. He should be the one "put down". My blood boils, and my heart aches for you!

  2. And, hopefully, you're not seeing him any longer. Disregard for a life, human or human helper, tells you a lot about a person. I'm sorry you had to experience a doubly disturbing even.

  4. that is SO AWFUL! I swear I would want to kill him. I don't know if I could be responsible for my actions if that happens. His next target was most likely you. I hope you are not seeing him anymore.

  6. scary... you need to be more choosy about the company you keep

  7. Some friend, perhaps you might want to be a lot more choosy about who you go out with. Your poor dog is dead, anyone who would beat a poor dog almost to death would have no problem doing the same to you.
This sort of thing makes my blood boil, if I and or my sons had see this happening.....
Dam, I'm even angry at you for leaving your dog where this jerk could kill it...what a pathetic excuse for a human being that due is.

    1. I didn't leave my dog somewhere where he could kill it - I was there. I'm really not going to put the ENTIRE story on my blog, but I did what I could to try to stop him, and it didn't matter.
Also - this isn't someone I knew for a few months - I've known him (or at least OF him) for years, and I never heard a bad thing about him. Ever. And I DID ask around.

  8. What if the puppy was a child ? What if the puppy wasn't around and the thing killed you? You must make better choices, better friends. You ain't in Kansas no more Dorthy .

  9. Carrie, so sad to hear, don't blame yourself, people can hide their true selves for only so long.

  10. Sorry to hear what has happened. Remember the company you keep is not always who they seem to be. People can only wear their "mask" for only so long and then their true selves show. Only good thing out of this whole mess is that you physically didn't get hurt.
